Captain Danny Walker is the Owner/Operator and Chief Firearms Instructor of the East Texas Tactical Firearms Training School. He has been in the Law Enforcement profession since 1993. He holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certificate, TCOLE Firearms Certification as well as an Advanced Instructor’s License and Texas CHL/LTC Instructors Certificate. He has taught numerous firearms courses in his career, including basic, intermediate, and advanced handgun, AR-15 type rifle shooting, patrol rifle, and shotgun courses and is an armorer for both Glock and AR-15 weapon systems. Captain Walker has been a SWAT Officer for 12 years, 10 of which were spent as the team’s Sniper and Assistant Commander.

Firearms and gun safety are top priorities at the East Texas Tactical Firearms Training School, and Captain Walker and his staff promote gun safety at home and in the field. Captain Walker’s decades of experience, training, and a passion for firearms have prepared him to effectively instruct Law Enforcement Officials and Civilians in the use and proficiency of firearms in tactical scenarios.
